ED25UEXHT01 Dead no cool?
« on: August 02, 2019, 11:37:25 AM »

Hello. Wanted to get a second opinion on this diagnostic. I have a model ED25UEXHT01 that stopped cooling. Nothing was working, couldnít hear defrost timer running, just dead. I unplugged it and started to open up the control box. Had everything open and plugged it in, then everything started to operate as normal. The defrost timer started ticking away and I set it into defrost. After a few minutes it  kicked out of defrost and everything  seems okay. At first My diagnostic was a stalled defrost motor but itís also possible that the cold control may be faulty. Any opinions?

WP2198202 very common problem with that cold control. Defrost frost timer is cheap would put one in it to because of the appliance age.
