I have the washer cited in the subject. Tub leaks and I assumed that the tub seal was worn out. Nope, the shaft seal that holds the water out of the transmission is worn out. When the tub fills, I don't have a leak until the square shaft gets submerged. Then the water leaks through the transmission and out the oil fill hole. Grrreat!

I'm reaching out to you all asking if I can get parts for the inside of the transmission: mainly, the top of the shaft seal, and or any bushings or bearings that keep the inner and outer shafts happy. Haven't broken into the transmission yet, and I might not if none of those guts are available.

Thanks in advance.

Bump!

Nobody has a clue about these ultra common GE washers? Trying to rehab for a friend.
