LG WM3770HVA front load washer No Spin No Drain
« on: April 23, 2019, 10:13:02 PM »

Hello All,
New to the forum. I have a Lg WM3770HVA front loader that wont spin nor drain.
I cleaned the filter, checked the hoses etc.
while I had the filter out I used a mirror to see if I could see the impeller with no luck.

I then Put it in load test mode
Got zero rpm low spin, Zero on high spin no noise
all other functions worked till I got to 11 then on the drain test it just makes a strange noise and never drains.
The Water Level Frequency is 255 or 25.5 if I am reading this right.

A question I have is; Will the no drain keep the spin from working? Or am I looking at two separate problems.

Thanks for any and all replies
VB

Yes...no drain will keep it from spinning. If you donít hear drain pump the bad pump or board. Test for voltage. If pump hums then try sucking water through drain hose with shop vac. If clear might be cracked impeller. If not clear might be a sock or something blocking somewhere.

Thanks  baldwinappliance.

I have ordered the new pump.
The washer drains fine using the drain hose.
I will tear it apart this weekend, when I get in there
hopefully there is voltage to the pump or I guess a new board will go in with a new pump ;D
