« on: April 23, 2019, 07:17:48 PM »

I worked on a Samsung dryer today replaced 4 rollers pully and belt  marcone wants 32 dollars list 26 my cost and the belt is 26 dollars
roller # dc97-16782a       belt # 6602-001655     any one getting these cheaper ?  gets a little tough to make $ when you spend almost 200 in stock for that job  I know theres aftermarket parts ive heard they don't last long don't want customers complaining
           what are your thoughts

They look a lot like the old whirlpool rollers. Have you compared them?

Not the same exact size. Sam is metric, Whirlpool is sae. If you think the Sam parts are the same quality as fsp parts you are wrong. More like supco or erp. Sam and LG both like to revise parts and not let you know. If you order the old part, they may not send you the revised version.

I just ordered an idler pulley on amazon that had a ton of good reviews and said it was made with ball bearings and less than 1/2 price from the OEM part.

I have had no issues out of the ERP belt for the Samsung and it`s a WHOLE lot cheaper , No issue out of the idler or Support rollers . However The thermofuses and thermstats I had less issues out of OEM.

Use the WP belt WP40111201 as a Samsung substitute. Works great and no issues.

I just ran across another pricey dryer part. Drum felt seal gasket, part no. DC97-07618A, list is around $100 each! C'mon Samsung! The Maytag mde97 used to be a good fit for the spot, but they've disappeared.

Does anyone know a good sub for the felt that isn't heavenly priced? Most of the rest are around 20 bucks plus or minus.
