Kenmore Frontload washer-Model#592.49466

This washer works fine but on final spin it has the weirdess sound. Bearings seem okay-spin tub turns freely both directions.
Its like a chattering sound.Only does it with a load.

Could have a broken spider Hub on backside of spin basket. grab it at 12 and 6 and see if there's up and down play. also look for tiny bits of my new plastic fiber on the clothes. spin basket will eventually rub a hole in the outer tub. Big job

Hi
Thanks for speedy reply. Will get another look at this washer later this morning.Has to be something that only shows
up when theres a load in tub--like you say probably a broken crossarm.Spin tub seems okay when you lift front up& down
but maybe different story with weight inside.( Doesn,t flop up& down). Back this morning to replace motor on dryer beside this
washer.Had 4 with same complaint & replacing main and userinterface boards got them up & running. Not that old of Samsung
dryers & this was first one I came across that turned freely but drew 26 amps starting. No funny sounds or anything. Will let you
know on the washer. Thanks for your help :thanks:

Hi
Got back to this washer this morning--Tried lifting front of spin tub at different locations & no play even when one
holds down on outer tub.Snug as can be.Maybe new shocks is whats needed. New motor on dryer & running fine. :thanks:
