Newer GE stackable #GTUP270EM1WW is bearing replaceable??
« on: February 15, 2019, 05:40:19 PM »

I have a newer GE Stackable Washer/Dryer model# GTUP270EM1WW that needs a bearing in the transmission does anybody know if this can be replaced and if possible have the bearing number available ?

I got really lucky and the basket came off with no issues but has bad bearings any help or shortcuts available please inform.  I try to steer clear of these GE stackableĎs because of their maintenance history Iíve never done one.

no. This is what people usually use to replace the mode shifter (transmission): Part # WH45X24614 for the 27" models. Of course you can also replace just the tranny since you did get the tub out.
