Washer is a topload GE # MTW200BMK0WW.On sensing then when it starts to take in water unit will kick the clothes to one side.
Usually sensing is gentle motions back& forth.

I have seen these machines have bad control boards and doing some strange stuff in sensing.

Hi
Mabe suggested replacing transmission & spin tub.Do you think a bad tranny would cause the rough
motion at the start of rinse fill?

No, this one will kick at the start of rinse when water just starting to come in.Of course then because clothes are bunched up, washer will fill with
water but unit remains with unbalanced load. Its a rare complaint to me.

Yes machine is level. Floor is okay.Problem has to be right in washer itself.Has to be something that is causing a forceful power
to gearcase for start of rinse cycle. Its a fast/short whipping motion of agitator. One place suggested replacing gearcase & spin tub. Another the
motor sensor.
