Hello,
I have a Maytag Centennial MTW5600TQ1. During the spin cycle, the washer shakes violently. I see four suspension springs and a fifth leveling spring.

the suspension springs look like -

the leveling spring looks like

could the springs be worn out even though they appear to be undamaged ?
what other parts should I inspect ? perhaps a bearing of some sort ?

thanks!

today an appliance repair man came and changed some  pieces called the "slides" or "glides". the washing machine is now working normally. these pieces are plastic pads that go between the main base of the washing machine and the ""suspended" section (the drum, motor, etc.)
