The instruction sheet that comes with the Jazz Board(control board)says the technician has to programme the code number into the Jazz board, otherwise the fridge will not work. That means there is some other board to memorise this code number, and make sure the correct code # is in.I cannot find this extra board.Any body knows where this board is?If this exra board is defective, what will hgappen?

there is no other board that tells if the correct code is  in, the correct code has to be put into the new jazz board so the jazz board knows how to act for that particular model.

If the wrong code is entered, the jazz board will act wrong and it won't work.

Thank you,Schleven, I just thought there was a board to keep track of the code. After I installed the new Jazz board, and the code is in,nothing is working.no fans,no compressor.only lites are working. That's why I thought there was another board. So now I have to do some more troubleshooting.

I would recheck make sure that the code did get entered and stored properly.

I had the same problem once! checked the cables on top of the Jazz board. Mine had a short on the cables and it would not come on.
