RF4287HARS temperature calibration
« on: September 25, 2017, 07:42:36 PM »

Does anyone know the magic finger code to get into this thing to set the offset point?  I tried holding the freezer temp and power cool for 12days.  Everything flashes once and that's it.  Cant seem to change anything.  My issue is, the fridge won't go lower than about 44degrees.  Condensor coils under the back are spotless and I have no ice present on the upper or lower coil.  (thank god for that at least)

Fridge is set to 34degrees, it reads it's 29 degrees, but it's really 42.  The only way I can drive the temp down is by hitting the power cool.  Then it will cool down to 33-34.  I think I either have a thermistor or main board going goofy.  I tried the calibration procedure found here on AJ and it didnt let me in the system to adjust it.

Thanks!
