CORRECTION TO THE ABOVE POST

I have a brand new Kenmore gas range 790-73433311, I have converted it to use LPG using a 100lb cylinder. After installing the range and light up all the burners I am getting a low flame from the burners. If I light one burner it`s ok, this one is bothering me.
Can someone please help me.  :(
Question, do the size of gas line going to the range has anything to do with it?

Thank for your help

Cheers  :thanks:

Did you change the regulator? It's not advisable to use a propane tank.  Sounds like a pressure problem.

dewitt8884, thank for replying to my post. However I did not change the regulator, I am using the same regulator the stove came with.
Question, which regulator you are referring to, is it the one that connect to the 100lb LPG cylinder? Where I am located the gas supply here is LPG, either from Sol or Rubis.  Am using 15ft of 3/8 copper tubing between the regulator and the stove, the same line that was used on previous stove.

I hope this information will help to diagnose this problem.

 :thanks:

The regulator on the unit itself needs to be changed for LP.  Typically, you flip the insert inside of the regulator nut.  Check out the directions and you'll see it.  Otherwise, it's probably due to the pressure of your tank. Careful, you can damage the regulator and valves if the pressure is too high.  That's why it's not at all advisable to use a tank.

dewitt8884,  As you mention above, I flip over the plastic cap in the regular from NG to LPG. In my country we don't have the Gas supply
network like the USA, so the suppliers which are Sol (Shell) or Rubis (Texaco) only supply with the 20lb and 100lb cylinders.

However I will check the regulator and update you.

Thanks Cheers :thanks:
