WTW5500XW1 60v to motor
« on: April 15, 2017, 03:52:12 PM »

I have a Whirlpool Cabrio WTW5500XW1.  It fails to spin.  I've replaced the shifter twice, the control board, the capacitor, and the motor and it still won't run.  I have 120v at the power connector but only 60v at pins J16-5 and J16-7 while the motor is disconnected and I Jane it on low spin in Manuel test mode.  Both main controls have the same readings.  I've had a service tech out that knew less than I did and another on the phone.  Help please!

Have you checked the error codes? Need to check the lid lock too and check for voltage at the components.

I have found one broken wire and two connector pins with no continuity.  I've ordered a new harness
