Why does my stove door make a clunking sound?
« on: March 20, 2017, 06:27:48 PM »

Anyone know why my stove door suddenly makes this noise when I open it?  Comes from the left I'm sure.  I've done nothing at all to it. Just added a little grease to the metal sliding part to stop a squeak.  I made a vid.

Any change you or wife put something heavy on the door and possibly bent the hinges? I've literally seen little children sitting on the door before a service call and the customer asked why her door makes a creeking noise when she opens and closes the door and the door does not close all the way.??

I literally take the door apart and remove the hinges and there bent like a boomerang. lol. They are fixable by bending back in a vise but you might want to replace them if bent too much.
