service manual search help
« on: March 05, 2017, 10:37:11 AM »

I love all the online manuals and tech sheets, but often I can't find the one I am looking for, then someone, (usually dab147315) posts exactly what I am looking for.

Is there some secret way of searching that I am not aware of?
Can anyone share the secrets to finding what we need?
I know how to search the drive, but many of the manuals are not named after the model number.

thanks for any  help or tips

Search is better if you make your own G-Drive and add AJ's drive to it.

Did that a long time ago. I can find a lot of them. Just sometimes not the one I'm looking for. Sometime somebody else seems to find it when I feel like I've searched thoroughly. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on some easy search secret.

Yes and there are a lot of manuals i added to the manuals and tech sheet sections that you should add to your own google drive and other people added there to. Sometimes you guys ask for a manual and i google it and find it.Also use Bing search engine and find it that way. I have a good collection on my own google drive. Save everything you find.

Also some of these newer manuals if you don't add the models to the service manual like this one your working on it won't show up on google drive. Also sometimes you have to delete some of the last letters or numbers to show up on your drive.

Yes, I have done that. I actually found that manual earlier. I was really hoping you had some magic way to search!
