Whirlpool Gas Oven - GFG461LVS heating problem
« on: January 21, 2017, 08:17:26 AM »

Haven't been on site yet but complaint is that oven heats up fine, but if turned off while warm and then back on while warm it doesn't heat up again.  If it heats up fine, that rules out thermal probe and points to control.  At least that's my thinking.  Any experienced advice appreciated.  Thx.

The DSI have had issues with bleeding ground.
Clean the ignitor with a brass brush to see if it cycles correctly.
If not they do have an upgraded wire harness to help with the bleeding ground.

Customer bailed on me and bought a new stove.  He got overruled by his wife.
