Samsung DW, starts, drains with heavy & quick lights flashing
« on: August 23, 2016, 09:01:53 PM »

Hey everyone, I'm trying to repair a Samsung dishwasher Model no: DMT300RFB/XAA.  I can start a cycle and the dishwasher will drain, fill and as soon as it starts to wash it will drain the water out and the heavy & quick cycle will flash on and off.  I know the code is for a over water level.  I took out the fill container on the left side of the dishwasher and cleaned it very good.  still got the code.  Yesterday I replaced the flow meter (sensor).  still get the code.  Here is the strange thing.  After I restarted the dishwasher on the third time it worked OK.  My customer said sometimes it will work after restarting it 5 or 6 times.  Any ideas on this please let me know.  I have the service manual on this model and the only other thing it said could be a drain problem or stuck fill valve.  I don't think this is a problem cause it drains fine and I think if the fill valve was sticking it would not stop filling, overflow and they would have to shut off the water valve under the sink.  Help if you can.  Thanks, Tom
