LG dryer DLE3050W won't stop running
« on: May 29, 2016, 03:46:15 PM »

My LG dyer DLE3050W won't stop running.  I tried to leave it unplugged for a few hours, didn't help.  I cleaned the sensors, didn't help.  I have to leave it unplugged or with the door open so,it doesn't run.  It's only two years old.  What now?

The relay for the drum/blower motor has sticking contacts. Likely on the main control board! O0

Step 1.  Unplug your dryer
Step 2. Hold the Start button for 5 seconds - this resets your dryer circuit
Step 3. Plug dryer back in
Step 4. Dry clothes
Step 5. Smile  :D
