whirlpool dryer does not start
« on: October 01, 2008, 12:42:15 PM »

Hello,  I tried to start my dryer today and I cannot get it to turn on.  When I set the timer dial to the setting I want and then try to push in the dial nothing happens.  The dial doesn't push in and the dryer does not start.  Thank you in advance for your advice!! :)

If the dial does not push in, your timer is bad. It must push in for the start process to begin. That's not a model number you provided, so we can't help you on parts, etc.

The dial don't get pushed on a whirlpool. You must press the start switch.
