Does the Igniter Glow ?Model Number ?
... Igniter Glow? No
with an OHM meter (Dryer unplugged)or a volt meter Dryer running.[/quoteI don't see a spark when I'm looking through the eyehole of the dryer.Should I check it with a meter anyway?Could it just be dirty? Do igniters get dirty or should it be replaced. Thanks!
Now that everyone has added their comments, I would like to add for you to check the radiant sensor on the left side of the burner box. It has a black and a white wire going to it. If you unplug the dryer and disconnect those 2 wires, use your OHM meter to check for continuity across the 2 terminals of this device. You should show full continuity if it is good. The reason I brought this up is because I have sold 5 radiant sensors just this week. Appliance parts seem to fail in bunches, for some reason. I will sell lots of one particular part for a week, then won't see them again for several months. I firmly believe it has to do with moon phases or something Let us know what you find.
