Whirlpool Cabrio WTW5550XWO
« on: February 04, 2016, 10:57:12 AM »

Greetings,

I have searched the net for hours trying to figure out a way to solve my problem with no avail.

My washer is 5 years old. I did a load of laundry yesterday and it worked fine, but when I did another load it decided that it doesn't want to agitate or spin.

All the advice for this washer are directed to the model that has a visual LED panel. Mine does not. Unfortunately my warranty expired in October and I have been so busy with school and two kids with emotional issues and forgot to call them back. I have to figure this out since I am broker than broke and can't afford a repair person.

Please help this struggling single mom that only has financial aid as income.....

Thank you in advance.

All i can do for you is give you some information about this washer.May want to look for broken wires under washer like in this service pointer and a loose nut on the pulley. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-i5KqMA2RZwOWR4V1dxU3YwVXc/view?usp=sharing

This would be your tech sheet and it tell you how to put it in a diagnostic mode.  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-i5KqMA2RZwZG1EeXhsVjZUaE0/view?usp=sharing  By using a knob dance. Look for broken wires first.Or any loose connection.  Even though this manual may look different from your model basic apply.  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-i5KqMA2RZwQTktZ3gtRjM3LTA/view?usp=sharing

This will be the same way your washer can be put in a diagnostic mode even though they look different.
