Hi, go to
shopjimmy.com
and punch in your model #. They sell the Y-main board and the power supply boards. They also sell rebuild kits for both boards. No capacitors in either kit. Give your complaint and maybe they are your answer. I bought a kit for a different set from them with excellent results. Paul

Is that cracking noise coming from the TV?
I actually work at Shopjimmy and have done TV repair for about 20 years now.
If you go to GSPN, there is a bulletin on how to run your set without the main board. It will bring up test patterns, but it will eliminate the main board as the cause of your issue....which I have a feeling it is.

Do you have access to GSPN domain?
Looks like we are currently out of stock on all 4 main boards used in that model though....

I'll see if I can link the service bulletin about isolating the main board sometime today for you. Give me an hour or so here.

Not able to link it because the wmv file is too big.
Basically what you want to do is find the connector the goes from the power supply board to the main board. Use a jumper wire to short the PS_ON pin to GND. Don't use chassis ground, just use one of the pins on that connector. Not sure which power supply you have in your set as Samsung used 2 different ones.
Then take an alligator clip and short the 2 highest numbered pins on the logic board. Some logics had a 4 pin and some had a 6 pin connector. On the 4 pin, short pins 3 and 4. On the 6 pin, short pins 5 and 6 using the alligator clip. These pins will look like connector CN2013 located on the lower right of the board in the attached picture.
http://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-lj92-01531b-main-logic-ctrl-board.htm
Then power up the set. You should see test patterns on the screen. If the test patterns look good and the set doesn't cut out and make that popping noise like in your video, then its 100% confirmed the issue is on that main board.
Hope that helps! Lemme know if you have any other questions.

I can check and see if we have any defective boards in stock and possibly pull the audio IC for you if you wanted to give that a shot.
Would need the part number of your main though if you wanted to try that. Let me know.
