Need help diagnosing problem with Kenmore 90 series model 110.26901691 washer. Last week replaced lid switch and that problem was corrected, everything was working fine. This morning washer agitator appeared "Anemic" and was making a clicking noise while struggling to agitate. Additionally the lights in the kitchen were dimming slightly with each click.  Any thoughts?

Take a look at the red wire on the motor. check for a broken wire at the motor and at the motor capacitor.

Thanks for the response Scrapiron, I just checked the leads running from the capacitor to the motor and up to the control panel.  The red wires were intact.  The exterior of the capacitor did not have any signs of leakage nor defect.  What else can I check while I have this open? Also there was yellow oil on the bottom of the washer, unknown if this is related.
