Out of balance VMW
« on: August 15, 2015, 09:36:20 AM »

I have a customer with a VMW washer that has started getting out of balance to the point where the tub ring has chipped the edge. I have seen this in the Cabrio and have fixed it by changing the suspension rods. I thought Whirlpool would have fixed this on these newer washers. Anyone else had this problem?

Nope, same scenario, just like the Cabrios. You have a badly out of balance load, it bends the suspension rods, and then it bangs all the time. Just replace the rods.
