Frigidaire Electric Wall Oven won't heat after self clean
« on: March 01, 2015, 04:13:11 PM »

Model Number: FGEW3065PWB
Like the title says, used the self clean and now the oven will not heat. From what I've read most of these ovens have a thermal breaker at the back of the oven that just needs to be reset but I cannot locate one for this oven. Anyone have any idea if this model has one and where it is located? The only thing I see per the parts list is Thermostat, cooling fan, 105 deg. Thanks.

Replace the limit thermostat, 318578506. There is no fan thermostat on this model.  The thermostat is not resettable. It should be on the back somewhere, follow the orange wire from the DLB relay on the control board.

Thank you both. It is located on the top right, so it's pretty easy to get to. I'll post back with an update once I get it replaced.

I replaced the limit thermostat and it seems to be heating now. The venting fan isn't working though. The bake function doesn't seem to be able to keep the temp up. Convection works best.

If the cooling fan is not working, that's probably the cause of the blown limit. If the oven is not reaching temperature on bake, it's probably a bad bake element.
