Like I said, I never get the easy calls...
Local electric company replaced the fridge under a program where they replace your old fridge for a new energy saving model. They deal with some local appliance installation company. When there's a problem, they call $ears under some type of commercial service call. But that's when it's a Kenmore model. This is a frigidaire. And we don't do warranty service for frigidaire unless it's purchased at $ears. So here I am, at 7:00 at night. Stac is closed. Frigidaire is closed. So I had to tell her to call frigidaire for service. Just to find out she did and the servicer refused to come out because it's 30 miles one way.
If this was a simple $ears purchase, I'd call Stac, show them the pictures, they'd get on a con call with frigidaire, they'd condemn it and replace the unit.
So now I get to make half a dozen phone calls so we get paid for coming out and get her a new fridge....
