I picked this dishwasher up a an auction. Was told it leaked, I repaired the leak with a new seal. Now when I'm testing it before I install it, I can't get it to stop washing in the normal wash cycle. It ran for over 2 hrs in the wash cycle before I hit cancel. When I open the door the steam was pretty warm Could use a little help on what to check for this problem. Thanks

You have it connected to a hot water line?

Ok Thanks guys , no I could only hook it up to cold water in my garage to test it. I'm guessing that was the problem?

Yes, it needs hot water to start with as the heating element is only there to help increase the temp of the water a few degrees.
The dishwasher may not advance the wash cycle until the correct water temp is reached. The heating element in the dishwasher only runs on 120V. and will never heat the water like a regular hot water heater does that has 240V. going to it's heating elements.

Get it connected to some hot water and see how it works.
