F14 error code on Frigidaire CFES3035LS3 slide-in-range
« on: October 25, 2014, 01:39:15 PM »

This error keeps appearing when any oven control pads are selected. The oven top works. The problem started after the oven was shifted slightly so that the oven door, upon opening,  would not rub against a cabinet drawer face. Tried resetting the EOC; error code persists. Is there an easy fix?

Runaway Temperature.

Shorted Keypad.

Bad Micro Identification.

1. (F10 only) Check *RTD Sensor Probe & replace if necessary. If oven is overheating, disconnect power. If oven continues to overheat when the power is reapplied, replace EOC. Severe overheating may require the entire oven to be replaced should damage be extensive.

2. (F11, 12 & 13) Disconnect power, wait 30 seconds and reapply power.If fault returns upon power-up, replace EOC.

3. (F14 only) Re-seat the P12 ribbon connector tail. If fault returns replace EOC (first action); Touch Panel (second action)
