Kenmore refrigerator, control problems model 106.44322400
« on: October 17, 2014, 02:46:43 PM »

Subject refrigerator has a inverter and a control board in the fridg. The inverter board is no longer available.
Control board will not accept properly a temperature selection. For a period, it will make a clicking sound and make the inverter board click.
During this period, the condensing fan motor will not run, but the compressor and freezer fan motor will.
Then, after a period of time, everything will go back to "normal".
Hope someone has seen this before.

The fridg has been working fine, only acts up for a brief time. Also, The power for the condensing fan motor comes from the control board in the fridg section.

Thanks for all the help, really appreciate it. The two year warranty is sure a lot better than Sears which is zero.
