Just curious if anyone else has experienced a high amount of new membrane switches from Whirlpool being bad right out of the box? My company's technical help desk says it is a "Known issue" and we can't do anything about it. The one I had recently was a #8274084
membrane switch. The original one on the range was getting an intermittent F2-E0 error indicating a sticking key. I tried replacing the membrane switch but 2 of them in a row were bad right out of the box. NONE of the buttons would respond at all on both new keypads. Put the original back in and all keys respond, just the occasional stuck key error. Ended up refunding customer's money.
