which spanner nuts are reverse threaded?
« on: October 06, 2014, 11:37:02 AM »

Can anyone tell me off hand, which manufacturers/type (direct drive vs belt drive) use spanner nuts that are reverse threaded?

GE and Maytag I agree.    Speed queens are normal thread,  along with whirlpool.      I have 2 of the original maytag spanner wrenches,  those are way better than the new combo ones,   and 3 whirlpool original spanner wrenches.     For the GE and the Speed Queen,   I have impact sockets to remove them with my impact gun.
