washer problems Whirlpool Duet model WFW9200SQA12
« on: March 06, 2014, 12:17:07 PM »

Having problems with the Whirlpool Duet washer model no WFW9200SQA12.When it starts the wash cycle it will start to fill and wash, then after about 12-15 minuets it flashes F-20 and stops.Sometimes when it starts the wash cycle it will operate for about 25 minuets before it flashes the F-20.If I put the select dial on Rinse/spin it will rinse and spin good untill it is complete, draining out the water. What is wrong with this washer and how to fix it.Thanks for your time.

Check the pump clean out first, may not be draining fast enough, pump clean out is located behind bottom toe plate. Put bucket under pump before opening.

I'm going to troubleshoot a Washer later today with identical problem (fills and runs for about 15 min. then displays F20) and was wondering what resolved your F20 issue (if you remember).

What I found out is that the hot water was turned off. This machine needs hot water to meet the tempeture requirements during the cycles.
