Dryer makes a scrape metal noise.

OK, put a shirt in dryer. Made a scrape like noise. Like maybe metal on metal. Turned off and then back on, same thing. Then opened door and moved drum back and forth by hand and could hear scraping. Drum turns fine . Then closed door turn on again same thing. Opened door repated above by hand. closed door...no noise! What gives? Thanks for any and all help.

You could have object between tub ,bad. #37001287,pulley,worn dryer glide,#37001298,worn drum rollers #37001042 and while your in there change belt# 40111201. Watch video to change rollers it will tell you how Dryer comes apart.
