Frigidaire frontload washer has intermittent spin problems
« on: June 01, 2014, 04:33:26 PM »

I have a Frigidaire Gallery front load washer model GLTF2940FS1.  For months now you can run 15 or 20 loads through it and they spin just fine and are barely damp at the end of the load. Then the next 5 loads you wash will be too wet at the end of the cycle. I have to run the spin/drain again before I put them in the dryer.

We replaced the drain pump. It was bad and we thought that might be the issue but it didn't help.

I ran the diagnostics and got E00 which I read means it's not throwing an error code.

Any ideas on fixing it?

Also I should adf, I'm not really sure if it's a spin problem or a drain problem.

sounds like a drain problem. possible a coin or object in a hose before or after the drain pump that occasionally moves just right to block flow, or another possibility is over sudsing .
