Kenmore 400 series washer filling problems
« on: November 26, 2013, 04:18:09 PM »

Hi there.
I'm having problems with my washer filling.  It will start out fine and then after about 30sec. Water will trickle out. It takes forever to wash one load. What could it be.

Sounds like a house water pressure issue. Turn off water and remove the fill hose ( check both this way) from the back of the machine. Put end of hose in drain pipe and turn on ,if pressure drops it's your household pressure.

Might have those goofy flow safe hoses.
Those do that sometimes.

Yeah those hoses can be a problem. I would not use them on today's washers.
