Kenmore Pro Double Oven 790.42003605 Help
« on: October 30, 2013, 06:34:06 PM »

I have the tech sheet, but this oven is not giving me any error codes. It comes to temp, but when you open/close the door the temp starts dropping, all the while hearing the relay board clicking to kick the element on and off. If you dont open the door, its works fine. If you shut it off and turn it back on it will turn the elements back on and go to temp. I am new to this Kenmore Pro double oven, made by Frigidaire. Temp sensor tested good hot and cold. This thing has 2 potentiometers, 5 control boards, a gauge, and door switch. Im tossed; I really just want to try the door switch but am thinking that would be too easy. Any one have any experience here?

Thanks!!!
Mike

No direct experience. I can't say for sure what the problem is. I looked in the $ears system and couldn't find any service bulletins. I do have the tech sheet and wiring diagram if you need it.
