Samsung Fridge problem with door's being left open
« on: October 09, 2013, 07:13:10 PM »

I have seen 2 of these exact models in the last to week's with same problem: not cooling right in the fresh food side.
On one of them there was an error code for the FF fan on the other none.
Model: RF26X...
Just a head's up if the homeowner flips the left side door closer open then shuts the doors the door alarm will not sound and you can literally put your hand into the fresh food side even though it looks closed.  It has caused freezing of the evaporator fan in the fresh food section.
On one it didn't give me any error code but the other it did give me a fresh food fan code...either way I put it into manual modes and all worked well including defrost but the defrost was not good enough to thaw the fan.  Pulled fresh food evap. panel out and defrosted fan and all worked well.
Hope this helps.
