Control panel access

Does anyone know how to gain access into the control panel of a Kenmore 110.88752791?  This machine has the controls under the dryer and has two spring loaded screws on the underside of the panel.

Loosen those two screws and then rotate the top of the control panel down.

Thanks, the metal control panel has a flange that is behind the cabinet that is preventing it from rotating.  That has been bent previously , so I am guessing it should be on the outside of the cabinet and not the inside, which is causing my frustration then.  I worked as a technician about 15 years ago, but not on Kenmore and a lot has changed since then.  Frustrating when you can fix it but can't get into it.

I find it easier to grab the head of the screw with pliers or vice-grips and pull straight down.
