Model Number:

, the customer was complaining about the dryer taking to long to dry clothes. After taking a quick look behind the rear panel, I noticed the high-limit thermostat and the connectors to it were brittle and looked be damaged from prolonged excessive heat. The long dry times is the result of a restricted dryer vent, and this restriction caused the element to cycle on and off by the high-limit and over a period of time it became weak. After trying to remove one of the connectors, well the photo shows the result. Installed a new
High-limit , and suggested cleaning the vent, and now it drys clothes properly.
