Hello everyone,  I'm trying to repair a Samsung front-load washer that will not spin to finish the cycle.  The Model no. is WF409ANW/XAA and serial no. is WOBR54ASA04001D.  The washer will start to spin, vibrate and shut down.  It will repeat this a few times and shut down.  Samsung factory service techs are useless!!!  I spoke with a repairman from Sears who said he did not want to touch it!!!  But he did say they have been having trouble with a RPS sensor located on the motor stator.  Looking at the schematic diagram I see no RPS sensor but I do see a hall sensor.  Could this be what he is referring too?  If anyone know, please let me know.  Thank You Very Much!  Tom

No I have not done that.  I think I will get a hall sensor before I return so I'll have one just in case.  I will not install it until I run the test.  I'll let you know how I make out as my customer will not be home until 6/11.  Thanks!

When the spin cycle got trouble. A chance motor cased trouble very low( low, high speed, semsor). Other things should be consider appropriate as water level. Can new motor SPIN when full water ? Try somethings differ motor problems, buy new motor sensor may cost 4 nothings. Enjoy....

Had same problem & mine was a simple fix.   there is a little panel in front right bottom.  Take it off.
unscrew the plug.  Lots of water will come out.  pull the plug screw all the way out & CLEAN it off,  put back together and mine worked.  I've had to do several times as tags & little pieces of paper are stuck in it.

Have you try clean the pump filter?
