Samsung Washer WF328AAW/XAA
« on: May 09, 2013, 10:13:37 AM »

In the middle of my load, the washer decides to quit working. It was making odd noises last night, but now it won't drain, or work at all, for that matter.  I reset the circuit breaker, no luck.  The error code is 'nd'. Duh! I can see it won't drain.

How can I remove the hose to check to see if it's clogged? Does it just pull out?  When I try and start a new cycle, all it does is hum (very loudly).  I'm thinking (and hoping) it's a problem with the motor, because that's the only thing still under warranty, but I have 3 little kids and a LOT of laundry to do, and I don't much want to wait a week to get it repaired by someone if it's something I can do myself.

I have just discovered this is (what, the only model?) Samsung makes that doesn't have a debris filter in the front, or an emergency drain hose in the back.  How frustrating!  HELP Me! (if you can!)

Thanks in advance!

sounds like a problem with your drain pump.  This model does have a filter at the drain pump that can be cleaned, unfortunately it appears you have to remove the front of the washer to get to it.
It either has a clogged pump or a bad pump.
To get to it, you have to remove the top, remove the control, remove the front, and the pump is at the bottom.
