I
used
to do warranty work on them, hard to get tech support and slow delivery on parts. Dropped them, slow pay as well.

I think China? My main parts supplier won't carry their parts anymore. Watch the inside edges, they are sharper than the insides of the Asko Dishwashers.

I have worked on Haier dishwashers & laundry. They're probably one of the cheapest appliances on the market & a pain-in-the-ass to work on. Parts orders take a LONG time.

Haier appliances, No need for bad language AJ
A friend of mine from a town not too far away decided to buy a load of them as they were on offer with 1 of the wholesalers. Turned out to be the worst thing he's ever done, he ended up replacing most of them because he was getting so many complaints about them. He's away on holiday for a couple of weeks so I can't ask him for more info, but i'm sure he said that these are the machines that have a Selenium rectifier in them & a few have caught fire. From what i've seen of them they're cheap Chinese C**P.

I think they are all made in china. My impression is that they are throw away appliances - dorm fridges and wine coolers that are sold through big box stores. I've repaired a few, and had to go to ebay and buy parts out of the UK.

I work on a lot of these crappy refrigerators. Lots of apartment owners in my area buy them for rentals. I had to order 3 thermostat assemblys to get a good one a few months ago. Not a fan of this china built appliance. They can be fixed however and a job is a job, but I always tell the owner how poorly these are made and hard to get parts for. Servall does carry the parts, and I carry a thermostat assembly, and evap fan for the ones I work on.
