Motor is running, but frige/freezer stays warm.

You mean the fan runs when you open the door? Have you pulled it out to see if the fan and compressor in the back are running? You may have to put you hand on the compressor to tell and they can be hot at times, but the variable speed models like this you can't always tell without touching them.
