I have a Maytag Topload Washer that won't Fill with Water and won't Spin on any Cycle (it doesn't make any noise). :tickedoff:
Could it be the Timer, Lid Switch, Water Level Switch, Pressure Tube or something else?

Lid switch failure sounds right. Without a meter to check that is where I would start. Wiring diagram for that unit.  http://www.appliancepartspros.com/08-wiring-information-parts-for-maytag-lat9420aae.html

I thought the Lid Switch was only activated for Agitate, Drain & Spin (not when Filling with Water).
There's power on the Black & White Wires that connect to the Lid Switch.
The Lid Switch has 4 terminal pins, therefore I need to know which 2 pins (or wire colors) that I need to check for continuity with lid closed.

If the internal fuse link is blown, the washer won't fill either. There are 3 sets of switch contacts in there. Normally, with the lid closed, you should have continuity between L1 (black), machine (SW, blue), and motor (yellow). With the lid open, L1 and machine only.

I replaced this Lid Switch Assembly and the Washer has completed the Cycle without any problems.
 :thanks:
