just would like input on how one creates new customers
advertising. or how is the best way to get more business..
we formed a new business and like to get our name out there..how are some of the better marketing things
that would let us get our name out there.. worse thing is telling a customer with a 4 or 5 year old applaince that its not worth fixing
we are currently looking at doing contracts for lowes....

I use pay perclick advertising on google and bing.  I had a previous career in advertising and amadwords certified.  You can lose a lot of money quickly if you are not careful. That said, it works for me.  It ends up costing me about $5 per new job. I spend a  lot less now than i used because of referalls. Everyone gets a magnet and everyone is asked to like my facebook page.
I would say that over 90 percentof the calls i run want me to do the repair.
Honesty, fair prices, on time service equals repeats and referrals.
