There's nothing wrong with my incoming power.  You might be mistaking my issue for the other person with the month old dryer.

Does anyone have access to the schematics for all the boards.  I would like to see what is supposed to latch that circuit.

I am just writing to follow up on my reported problem. We got the new dryer before we installed and got ready to use I had my electrician replace the circuit breaker that was tripping every time we pushed start and the dryer would turn off. The old breaker was the very sensitive kind with arc fault protection. Not there isn't still some problem in the wiring not sure but the new breaker did the trick. He installed a regular breaker and that was that. No problems with the new dryer. In fact I tried it with the first dryer and all worked as it should so it was not the dryer. If you are experiencing the same or similar problem as I was having then it is most likely the electrical issue similar to mine. I hope I won't have to report another issue and this dryer problem is gone forever.

Thanks for the update.  With those arc-faults, the neutral has to stay on the same circuit or they'll trip. You don't need it for a dryer anyway.

I ended up getting this running again.  The circuit breaker was bad.  Not sure what was going on but after i replaced it, it started working.

I was seeing the exact same issue with my dryer, and my problem ended up being electrical, but was due to the wall receptacle. It had been installed upside down, and I think over time, the heavy cord caused stress and the plug was somewhat lose in it, i.e., the plug was not making good contact in the receptacle. After replacing the receptacle, the issues went away.

I thought the issue was the control board, but the information in this thread lead me to look at the power delivery instead of the dryer, saving me a lot of time and money.

I know this thread is really old, but it pops up in a google search and I thought it best to update this one to add another possible source of this issue.

Update...... had repair man come out  replace breaker still didn't work. The outlet on my wall is 3 prug the dryer is 4 prug I bought a adapter from amazon it has the same rating as cord and when texting voltage at dryer it's good. The only thing is the adapter has a green ground wire that you plug into a regular wall outlet. I tested the outlet and it passed as well. The Repair man said it could be the motor or the heating element is shorting the ground. I'm checking that now and this is the only place I found that's having Same issue.
