DL and F Error
« on: June 08, 2012, 03:13:43 PM »

My washer displayed an DL and F error.  I took the lower panel off and reset the button.  However, after fixing that the DL and F error still comes on.  Please advice.  Also, when I switch the washer switch to say, normal or regular wash, the red light blinks.  When I press start, it just clicked and now power.  I need help.

Don't know off hand.

The full model number can be found on the model/serial number tag that is located on the washer.

F/DL = Door Lock Error

A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be locked.
It will try to lock it six times before displaying the error code.

Possible Causes
■ Door lock mechanism is broken or removed from door.
■ Door switch/lock unit failure.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check door switch/lock unit.
3. Check the wire harness connections to the door switch/lock unit and Central Control Unit (CCU).

Your model uses door switch lock assembly part # 8182634

Your model uses Central Control Unit (CCU) part # 8182697

Diagrams for model GHW9400PT0

I have also attached a copy of the tech sheet for your washer.
The tech sheet has a lot of troubleshooting information in it that you may find helpful.

I took the lower panel off and reset the button.
What button would that be?

Unplug it for a few minutes and then try it again.

Also try running it through the diagnostic mode that is show in the tech sheet.
