Whirlpool Washer Noise During Spin
« on: April 21, 2008, 10:17:00 PM »

Model Number: LSR8233EQ0 icon, the washer was making a high pitched noise during the spin cycle, but the sound was not noticeable during agitation. After removing the cabinet, the noise seemed centered with the motor so I removed it from it's mounts and tried spinning the motor by hand (see video) and sure enough, the motor was the source and needed to be replaced. A new motor made this washer quiet again.

I would save that noisy motor and put it on my machine when mine kicks out. I don't mind any noise. LOL
