Title: Maytag Neptune dryer has a square on the display?
Post by: 1mcmommy on June 26, 2010, 08:26:08 PM
Hi, My dryer gets to the end of a cycle and instead of displaying the word "end", it has a square on the display that is chasing itself.  This wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that it doesn't stop the cycle!  It will stop drying for a couple of minutes and beep, then start back up, the whole time displaying the square.  It seems to be never-ending and if I am not paying attention the dryer will do this for hours.  Any ideas of what could be wrong?  Thank you so much for your help!

Turn the Wrinkle prevent option off  O0

What this option does is.

Dryer will turn on, for up to 2 hours every few minutes, to prevent your clothes from wrinkling.  When using this option, the machine does not use heat for the duration of the 2 hours.  Just tumble action.
