Hi
This washer makes a loud squeaking sound in agitate cycle. If there is a small load it usually won't make the sound, medium to large loads it will. Is this the hub assymbley wearing out? I checked the belt and the clutch was clean and dry.
Thanks for looking

Have you checked the pump?

What is the model number of the washer?
The full model number can be found on the model/serial number tag that is located on the washer.

Model # PAVT910A
JW...... I did check the pump turns fine, the sound starts when there are large loads, sounds like something rubbing together makes a high pitch sound.

might just be the nature of the beast

does it also make the same squeak at the end of the spin cycle? I bet it is your brake slipping.
