Title: Frigidaire dishwasher middle arm gasket
Post by: Heather on April 29, 2010, 09:59:41 AM
The gasket/ boot attached to the rear of the middle spray arm on my Frigidaire dishwasher model PLD2855RFC0 (http://www.repairclinic.com/Shop-For-Parts?s=t-PLD2855RFC0-%3d%3d) is falling apart.
My "service" centre tells me that the gasket can not be purchased separately and I must buy the entire spray arm assembly.
It makes no sense to have to replace the entire arm for the sake of a $3.00 gasket.
Help!

The gasket is probably molded into the spray arm assembly and couldn't be replaced anyway.

On occasion they do find flaws and IMPROVE stuff.

Not moulded into the arm - can be removed (and, I assume replaced) easily.
What is crazy is that the plastic washer that the gasket seals to is listed as a separate part and can be replaced.
Thanks for the replys!
